AET was retained by Reid's Heritage Homes as part of the project team to provide third party verification of the Materials and Resources Criteria for the first in Canada, LEED Home (Platinum) for Reid's Heritage Homes in Guelph. Waste disposal, recycling and reuse records were reviewed, analyzed and calculations were made to ascertain diversion percentage from landfill. Periodic construction monitoring was conducted throughout the project and the site was assessed to determine storage and collection of recyclables as a requirement for LEED Accreditation.
