Various non-government conservation and environmental organizations are actively involved in protecting, conserving and/or enhancing the natural environment, species and/or resources. Often non-government organizations require outside professional environmental consulting expertise to assist with projects and initiatives.
A number of industry groups have been established to develop, implement and operate programs for addressing environmental issues impacting industry. The direct and indirect actions of business and industry degrade finite natural resources. Issues such as energy use, waste disposal, purchasing and staff training all have implications for environmental quality. They also have associated costs and, therefore, implications for business competitiveness.
AET works with small or large associations and industry groups to help them efficiently achieve their project and program objectives within their budget. Associations and industry groups include:
- Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO's)
- Industry Funding Organizations (IFO's)
- Trade Groups
